The Fairness for Prisoners' Families program is helping the families and friends of Georgia prisoners become more effective advocates for their imprisoned loved ones, to discover their political power with state elected officials and to develop themselves as social justice activists. One of the greatest benefits of our program is that people with imprisoned loved ones can meet others who are facing the same challenges, and see that they are not alone.

The Southern Center for Human Rights is the parent organization of Fairness for Prisoners' Families.  The Center receives many calls from the family and friends of those in prison about the difficulties they experience when visiting their loved ones and trying to communicate with the Georgia Department of Correction.  In response to their experiences, the Center developed Fairness for Prisoners’ Families.  You can visit the Center's website at www.schr.org.
