Advocacy Handbook for friends and families of Georgia prisoners
Fairness for Prisoners' Families has prepared an Advocacy Handbook to assist the friends and families of Georgia prisoners in communicating with Georgia Department of Corrections and become more effective advocates for their imprisoned loved ones.
The handbook also includes an exhaustive directory for Department of Corrections administrators and facilities, suggestions for continuing action on criminal justice issues, and a directory of advocacy and activist organizations of interest to those with incarcerated loved ones in Georgia.
Currently, (as of Summer 2007) the Advocacy Handbook is being updated to reflect the most recent changes to the GDOC staff, and any policies and procedure changes.
