The purpose of this list is to help facilitate communication between people who have loved ones incarcerated in Georgia. We are asking those who have friends or family members who are incarcerated to join this list and help create online community with other family members, exchange suggestions about working with the Department of Corrections, and educate each other on the realities of Georgia's criminal justice system.You can view the website for the list at: http://groups.yahoo.com/group/fairness2families/If you are interested in joining this new list, send an email to fairness2families-subscribe@yahoogroups.com. At this point, we are restricting membership to those who have a loved one incarcerated in Georgia. At some point we may expand to include supportive members of the community and coalition partners, but for now we are starting small and wanting to create a safe space for those involved.We ask that every new subscriber introduce him/herself upon subscribing. We reserve the right to remove anyone who does not introduce him/herself or goes against Fairness for Prisoners' Families' principles.
